ERFRA is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of
six members elected by the membership, the mayor, finance director, and fire chief, who serve as Ex -
officio voting members of the Board of Trustees.
ERFRA has by-laws that act as operating procedures to ensure compliance with Minnesota Statute 424A.
It has been several years since a total by-law update has been completed. The Board of Trustees hired
David Ganfield, Apple Valley Fire Relief Administrator and retired firefighter Bob Pearson to review our
by-laws and provide update recommendations.
Over the past year, the Board of Trustees reviewed the updates and they were approved on August 3.
The Elk River firefighters approved them on October 29.
Financial Impact
N/A
Attachments
■ Elk River Relief Association By -Laws
P a w E A E U a r
NaA f RE]
