(M.B.C. Inc. )is located in Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota providing premanufactured floor,roof, and wall panels to the <br /> commercial and industrial building industry in the Minneapolis and St. Paul <br /> area. The M.B.C. Inc. panels are referred to as Double I's. <br /> The Double I panels are a new application of standard building practices, it is <br /> defined as a composite beam and slab system. The Double I is a cost effective <br /> alternate in applications where precast slabs and bar joist&deck systems are <br /> used. The Double I offers a third design option,providing flexibility, reduced <br /> span to depth ratio's,and fast high volume square foot erection capabilities. <br /> Double I panels can be delivered within 4-6 weeks,rather than 8-16 weeks for <br /> bar joist products and are comparable in square foot costs and weigh <br /> • approximately a third less than precast concrete panels. <br /> Midwest Building components, Inc. has been in business since May of 1996. <br /> MBC, Inc. and Eull Concrete Products, Inc. ( our contract manufacturer for our <br /> panels )are persently negotiating with Tiller Corporation regarding land <br /> acquisition for a relocation to the Elk River Area. This will be based on securing <br /> appropriate zoning and use permits for the land in consideration. <br /> Midwest Building Components,Inc. Management <br /> Terry Veech has twenty-five years of experience in the construction,millwright <br /> and production field. He has sixteen years of hands on experience and nine <br /> years in management. Mr. Veech's experience in management include contract <br /> administration and close-out of scattered site projects with an 8 million dollar <br /> budget,project scheduling and coordination, construction observation, plan and <br /> specification compliance and quality control. <br /> Ramani Ayakannu has fourteen years experience as a structural engineer and has <br /> lectured in Civil and Structural Engineering. Mr. Ayakannu is Chief Engineer at <br /> Concrete Structures Incorporated, located in Richmond, Virginia, managing an <br /> engineering department with annual billings of ten million. Mr. Ayakannu is <br /> • experienced in timber, steel, concrete(precast, post-tensioned, poured-in-place, <br /> and prestressed) design. He prepares bid and investigative proposals, structural <br /> calculations, supervises structural drafters, reviews structural shop drawings and <br /> makes field observations during construction. <br />
