Staff chose to wait to fill <br /> the position until the new Park Maintenance Superintendent was on board. Staff went to market in <br /> September,received 78 applications for this position, and interviewed the top eight candidates. <br /> Following second interviews with three candidates, staff recommends Shane Fisher for this position. <br /> Mr. Fisher has been working in park maintenance for Anoka County for the past seven years. He holds a <br /> Class A Commercial Driver's License and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Shane's <br /> responsibilities at Anoka County consist of daily park maintenance at Lake George Regional Park to <br /> include mowing, swimming beach maintenance,picnic shelter maintenance and repair, forestry,irrigation <br /> repair,playground and RPZ inspections, and overall responsibility for park cleanliness. Prior to his <br /> assignment at Lake George, Shane was the lead parkkeeper at Bunker Hills Regional Park where he had <br /> additional duties in the campground facility, dog park, and disc golf course. <br /> Mr. Fisher will be paid at step A of pay grade 6. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> This is a budgeted position. <br /> Attachments <br /> ■ None <br /> POWERED 6T <br /> A IR <br />
