3 Term Maximum - Library Board 5 Members <br /> Sherburne County Resident 1 Member may be a member <br /> of the city council <br /> Purpose: To oversee the physical facility housing the Elk River Public Library and to prO ote <br /> the best possible use of all library resources.(Article III:By-Laws Elk.River Library Board of Directors) <br /> Responsibilities of the Board of Directors: (Article IV:By-Laws Elk River Library Board of Directors)- <br /> 1. Seeing that an adequate physical facility and furnishings are provided <br /> 2. Assuring that heat, light, water and other utilities are provided, (Excluding telephone) <br /> 3. Overseeing the physical maintenance of the facility, including janitorial serviices and <br /> repairs. <br /> 4. Development and interpretation of policies pertaining to community room use. <br /> 5. Encouraging local special programming. <br /> Meetings:(Article Vii:'By-Laws Elk River LibrariBoard of Directors) <br /> > Location: Elk River Library, 13020 Orono Parkway, Elk River, MN. 55330 <br /> • The fourth Tuesday of every other month at 5:00 PM <br /> > Three (3) library Board Directors shall constitute a quorum.
