Concern was <br /> expressed as to where the project goes from this point, how much money it will <br /> cost to move the project along, and what portion of the project the taxpayers will <br /> be responsible for. <br /> Following discussion it was the consensus of the Council and EDA members that <br /> they are in favor of the "pre-design" phase for the downtown area moving <br /> forward through implementation of the CBD Action Plan. <br /> COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO PROCEED WITH THE COMPLETION OF THE PRE- <br /> DESIGN PHASE OF THE DOWNTOWN FOCUS STUDY. COMMISSIONER TOTH <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to delay funding of a designer until more data <br /> is attained through the planning process. <br /> 4. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER TOTH MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br /> MEETING. COMMISSIONER THOMPSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
