Update on the Central Business District Visioning Process <br /> Executive Director Paul Steinman indicated that a meeting of the Central Business <br /> District Visioning Group was held on Tuesday, December 15. The purpose of the <br /> meeting was to begin specifically addressing the completion of various activities <br /> identified in the visioning retreat held on October 23. There were approximately <br /> 12 people present during the December 15 meeting. These people identified <br /> seven specific activities which the group will pursue over the next couple of <br /> months. Paul Steinman reviewed the activities identified by the group. <br /> 6. Other Business <br /> COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HRA ON <br /> JANUARY 15, 1999,AT 11:30 A.M.AT A PLACE TO BE DETERMINED FOR THE PURPOSE <br /> OF HEARING A PRESENTATION OF THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT PLAN. <br /> COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> Paul Steinman updated the HRA on the postal service meeting which he <br /> attended regarding the relocation of the post office. <br /> • Commissioner Wilson indicated his concern about the traffic pattern at the <br /> location of the mailboxes on Railroad Drive. It was the consensus of the HRA to <br /> review the traffic pattern in that area. <br /> 7. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER WILSON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br /> MEETING. COMMISSIONER HINKLE SECONDED THE MOTION.
