Proclamation <br /> Designating September 17 - 23, 2015, as <br /> Constitution Week <br /> WHEREAS, our Founding Fathers,in order to secure the blessings of liberty for themselves and <br /> their posterity, did ordain and establish a Constitution for the United States; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is important that all citizens fully understand the provisions and principles <br /> contained in the Constitution in order to effectively support,preserve, and defend against all <br /> enemies; and <br /> WHEREAS, September 17, 2015, marks the two hundred twenty-eighth anniversary of the <br /> drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Convention; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to accord official recognition of this magnificent document <br /> and its memorable anniversary; and <br /> WHEREAS, the independence guaranteed to American citizens,whether by birth or <br /> naturalization, should be celebrated during Constitution Week, September 17 through 23, 2015, as <br /> designated by proclamation of the President of the United States of America in accordance with <br /> Public Law 915. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I,John J.
