King and Main Street Redevelopment Site The Executive Director informed the HRA that, based on HRA action on 5/6/96, he has entered into a purchase agreement for$410,000 for the three properties located at King and Main Street. He further indicated that an environmental audit is expected to be completed prior to closing. A public hearing has been scheduled for the City Council on June 17, 1996, to authorize this HRA acquisition prior to the Redevelopment Plan being completed. COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO APPOINT LORI JOHNSON AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE HRA DURING THE ABSENCE OF PAT KLAERS. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO AMEND THE PREVIOUS MOTION TO APPOINT THE HRA CHAIR AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DURING THE ABSENCE OF LORI JOHNSON. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE AMENDMENT CARRIED 4-0. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO RECOMMEND THE EARLY ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY TO THE CITY COUNCIL. COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 6. Other Business There was no other business. 7. Check Register COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHECK REGISTER. COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 8.
