Discuss the Kina/Main Site and Review the August, 1994 King/Main RFP <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator discussed with the HRA the possible purchase of the <br /> properties located on the corner of King and Main Street. <br /> COMMISSIONER HINKLE MOVED TO HAVE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PAT KLAERS PURSUE <br /> AN OPTIONS CONTRACT TO BUY THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT KING AND MAIN <br /> STREET. COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10. Other Business <br /> COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO HAVE A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br /> HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ON APRIL 17, 1996 AT 6 P.M. <br /> COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 7. Update on the EDA Business Incubator Program <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator distributed and discussed the March 25, 1996, EDA <br /> Minutes on the Business Incubator Program. <br /> 8.1 Executive Search for the Director of Economic Development <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator, distributed his April 1, 1996, memo and the <br /> timetable from the Brimeyer Group, Inc., for the position of Director of Economic <br /> Development. <br /> 8.2 Rip Rap Grant Proiect for the Mississippi Riverbank <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator, stated that a grant application has been submitted. <br /> The City received a similar grant in 1992 and 1995 and in 1995 the HRA supplied <br /> the$25,000 local match requirement. <br /> 8.3 Roma Tool <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator, updated the Commission on Roma Tool. Roma Tool <br /> may be relocating some positions out of the Elk River facility. <br /> 9. Consider HRA Check Register <br /> COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE HRA CHECK REGISTER IN <br /> THE AMOUNT OF$5,148.16. COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />
