The original CUP will stay with 19112 Freeport. That is, a new <br />massage therapist could open up shop at that location and not need a new CUP. <br />However, if the old location remains vacant for more than one year, the CUP <br />expires and is no longer valid. <br /> <br />The applicant's new location is on the north end of the shopping center adjacent <br />to Office Max. The applicant will also be applying for a new therapeutic massage <br />license for the new location. The business will be the same as was originally <br />approved. For background information, attached is the staff report dated March <br />17, 1997. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting held on July 25th, no one spoke at the <br />public hearing. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend the City Council approve the <br />amendment to an existing conditional use permit with the following condition: <br /> <br />1.
