Boys & Girls Club of <br />Elk River <br />Passport to Manhood: This program <br />seeks to instill in young boys, ages <br />11-14, the values and moral compass <br />that will assist them in their journey <br />from adolescence to manhood. If you <br />arc interested please contact John at <br />241-5000. <br /> <br />Smart Girls: Offered for girls ages <br />10-15 to develop healthy attitudes and <br />lifestyles and to make positive <br />decisions at the critical stage in theft <br />physical, cognitive, emotional and <br />social development. This class will be <br />offered every Wednesday from 5-6pm <br />starting September 6th. For more <br />information call Deb at 241-5000. <br /> <br />Teen Supreme Keystone Club: is a <br />small group leadership development <br />club for 14-18 year old members. <br />Keystone Club consists of eight to <br />fifteen teens that elect their own <br />officers and plan and implement their <br />own leadership and service activities. <br />Activities include: national and <br />regional conferences, national service <br />projects and award programs. The day <br />and time of the activity will be <br />determined by the members that <br />participate. If you are interested, <br />contact Tera at 241-5000. <br /> <br />Girls Youth Basketball <br />2000-2001 fall season <br /> <br />Registration is now in process for the <br />2000-2001 fall season. Flyers are <br />available at the Community Recreation <br />office. <br /> <br />In house fees are as follows: <br /> Grades 1-2 $35 <br /> Grades 3-6 $55 <br /> <br />Mail registrations to: <br /> ERGYB <br /> PO Box 235 <br /> Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />Deadline September 4, 2000 <br /> <br />Community Offerings <br /> Questions call numbers listed <br /> <br />2000-2001 Elk River Boys <br />Youth Basketball <br />Information <br /> <br />The Elk River Boys Youth Basketball <br />program has two leagues...a House <br />league for grades 1 through 9 and a <br />Travel league for grades 5 through 9. <br /> <br />Registration for the Elk River Boys <br />Youth Basketball Association (either <br />house or ravel leagues) can be made by <br />mailing in a completed form and <br />payment or by visiting one of our <br />registration locations listed below. <br />You will need one form per player. <br />Additional registration forms are <br />available at Community Education <br />Building or the Emporium (next to <br />Ron's Foods), or by using our web site <br />www.erbyb.org. Registration Deadline <br />is October 13, 2000. Playdays <br />will be scheduled for Saturday <br />mornings from 8:00-10:00 a.m. <br />beginning September 16, 2000 and <br />ending November 11, 2000. Please <br />submit registration form and fee of <br />$40.00 by August 1, 2000. A late fee <br />of $5 will be assessed after August <br />31st.
