LOT WiDTh: The shortest horizontal distance between the side <br />lot lines measured at the building setback line. <br /> <br />MANUFACTLrRED H6~E: A structure, transportable in one or more <br />sections, which in the traveling mode, is eight (8) body feet or <br />more in width or forty (40) bo~y ~e~t or more ~n len~t~, or when <br />erected on site, is three hundred twenty (320) or more square <br />feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to <br />be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when <br />connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, <br />heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems contained <br />therein; except that the term includes any structure which meets <br />all the requirements and with respect to which the manufacturer <br />voluntarily files a certification required by the Secretary of <br />the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development or <br />the head of any successor agency with responsibility for <br />enforcement of federal laws relating to manufactured homes and <br />complies with the standards established pursuant to M.S. 327.31 - <br />M.S. 327.32. A manufactured home is a dwelling. <br /> <br />MANUFACTURING, HEAVY: A use engaged in the basic processing, <br />manufacturing, packaging, assembly, compounding or treatment of <br />materials or products predominantly from extracted or raw <br />materials, or a use engaged in storage of, or manufacturing <br />processes using flammable or explosive materials, or storage or <br />manufacturing processes that potentially involve hazardous or <br />commonly recognized offensive conditions. <br /> <br />MANUFACTURING, LIGHT: A use engaged in the manufacture, <br />fabrication, processing, packaging or assembly, predominantly <br />from previously prepared materials, of finished products or <br />parts, but excluding basic industrial processing. The above <br />activities shall take place in a manner which will not produce <br />offensive conditions observable from neighboring properties. <br /> <br />MASSAGE THERAPIST. A person who practices or performs <br />Therapeutic Massage on a person for compensation and meets the <br />licensing requirements set forth in subsection 704.20. <br /> <br />MINERAL EXCAVATION: As defined in Section 720 of the Code. <br /> <br />MINI STORAGE: An enclosed storage facility containing multiple <br />individual units used solely for the storage of personal <br />property. These units are intended to be leased or rented to <br />private individuals. This facility is not intended to be used <br />for commercial or industrial storage, nor shall the storage of <br />flammable liquids or other hazardous materials be permitted. <br /> <br />MOBILE HOME: A factory-built single-family detached dwelling <br />which is equipped with necessary service connections, is designed <br />for year-round occupancy with or without a permanent foundation <br />and which is moveable as a unit but is not a Manufactured Home <br />pursuant to Section 900.08 of this Ordinance.
