August 21, 2000 <br /> <br />City of Elk River <br />Mayor Klinszing <br />City Council Members <br />13065 Orono Parkway <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />RE: Opus and ANC/Soitpac Proposal <br /> <br />Dear Mayor and Council Members: <br /> <br />A petition has been filed with the Minne,~ota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) <br />regarding the proposed industrial manufacturing juice packaging facility to be located at <br />Country Crossing Business Cemer 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />We the petitioners have requested that the EQB assign an RGU other than the City of Elk <br />River because we feel that it would be a conflict for the City since they have actively <br />solicited this project for economic development and based on the fact that the city has <br />already granted approvals. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br />
