When Cathy was hired we outlined her pay <br />adjustments based on pay grade 4E and she will be at the mid point of this <br />pay plan in July 2002. Accordingly it is recommended that the director of <br />economic development position be moved to pay grade 4E until the time spent <br />profile is completed in 2001. <br /> <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator <br />The city promoted Gary Leirmoe to the chief operator position when Daryl <br />Mack retired in 1999. As discussed when this promotion took place, Gary has <br />recently completed the time spent profile. The point ranking came in at 88 <br />which corresponds to pay grade 3E. It is recommended that Gary be place at <br />step C of this pay grade, which is $50,793.80 as of July 1, 2000. Gary will be <br />moving to an exempt employee status with this change. <br /> <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />It is recommended that the assistant director of economic development <br />position be established with a point ranking of 86 and a pay grade of 2E. <br />Additionally it is recommended that Marc's pay be set at $42,110.09 as of <br />July 1, 2000. <br /> <br />It is recommended that the director of economic development position be <br />moved to pay grade 4E until the time spent profile is completed in 2001. <br /> <br />It is recommended that the chief operator position be established with point <br />ranking of 88 and a pay grade of 3E.
