I felt so strongly in this regard that I volunteered to <br />Chief West to write this memo or appear before council. Should applicant Anderson not <br />be chosen or not be able to accept, I would recommend reposting the opening. Although <br />the other two candidates could do the job, it is my experience that more qualified <br />individuals are available. <br /> <br />Any full time position within city government, and especially in the fire service, is <br />typically one of very long term if not for life (in terms of career life).
