Green Company <br /> <br />I. Gall meeting to_ order at 4:00 May 30. 2000 <br /> <br />2. C~o~nsider Utilities Agenda <br /> <br />James Tralle has one additional item to be discussed under Other Utility Business. <br /> <br /> James Tralle moved to approve the Utilities Agenda, with one additional item to <br />be discussed under Other Business. George Zabee seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />4.1 Consider Proposed 2000 Employee Compensation Increase <br /> <br /> Commission and Staff reviewed the 2000 Employee Compensation issues, noting <br />that the Commission awarded the electric line department 3.21% wage increase, plus <br />increasing the employees insurance contribution to 25% at the April 11, 2000 <br />Commission meeting. Bryan Adams reviewed the pay equity study, with attention <br />particularly given to the compliance analysis. The salary surveys that were conducted in <br />conjunction with the issue were discussed. <br /> <br /> John Dietz stated his view that the Utility Worker positions are overpaid with <br />regard to the points awarded on the pay equity study, and their relation to the female <br />classes. George Zabee agreed with John Dietz on this topic. The relationship of female <br />classes/male classes and the point system was once more reviewed by Bryan Adams. <br /> <br /> James Tralle moved to approve the raises as presented, 3.21% across the board <br />increase, based upon the top step, + $0.17 for the ClerkfReceptionist positions, +$0.31 <br />for the Clerk/Purchasing, Accounts Payable/Payroll positions, +$1.00 for the Electronic <br />Technician/Security position, and a 25% employee contribution to insurance coverage. <br />George Zabee seconded the motion. Motion carried 2-1. John Dietz voting nae. <br /> <br /> <br />
