Commissioner Engstrom indicated that he is traveling to <br />shington, D.C. and he would like to hand deliver letters of support from the City Council to <br />tator Coleman, Senator Dayton and Congressman Kennedy. <br /> <br />)VED BY COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE AND SECONDED BY <br />~UNCILMEMBER KUESTER TO SEND A LETTER TO SENATOR COLEMAN, <br />NATOR DAYTON, AND CONGRESSMAN KENNEDY SUPPORTING THE <br />_EATION OF A VA COMMUNITY BASED OUTPATIENT CLINIC IN ELK <br />VER. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Congressman Kennedy was in attendance at the meeting and his letter was given to him. <br />Wtl-Mart Presentation of Public Safety, Donation <br />Pete Reiner on behalf of Wal-Mart and the Wal-Mart Foundation, presented Fire Chief Bruce <br />W~st and Police Chief Jeff Beahen with grant donations of $1,000 each for their respective <br />det~arp'nents. Mr. Reiner stated that Wal-Mart appreciates the support and response from both <br />agencies when needed. <br />Chief West and Chief Beahen thanked Nit. Reiner and Wal-Mart for their tremendous support <br />of both departments. <br /> <br /> <br />
