City Council ~finutes <br />June 7, 2004 <br /> <br />Page 13 <br /> <br /> Councilmember Dietz stated that he doesn't think the residents that are there to speak on a <br /> planning item should have to sit through the entire meeting. Councilmember Dietz asked <br /> Dizector of Planning Michele McPherson to put items that staff feels will draw the public in to <br /> the top of the planning item agenda. Ms. McPherson concurred. <br /> <br /> Nix, ICdaers noted that the Administration items were originally placed f'lrSt on the agenda so that <br /> the public would have more time to make it to the meeting prior to their item being discussed. <br /> <br />7. Staff Updates <br /> <br /> City Administrator Pat IClaers stated that the city received a certificate from the MPCA <br /> recognizing the Wastewater Treatment Facility's compliance efforts. <br /> <br /> Mr, IClaers stated that the city received notification that the MPCA has approved the primary <br /> digester improvement project. <br /> <br />8.
