Since initial efforts began in 1993, a total of 27 properties have been <br /> acquired and 17 new homes have been built or are underway. As a way of recouping some of the <br /> project costs, the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority(HRA)can collect the increased <br /> taxes generated by the new home for 15 years.
