The Agency <br /> has a twenty-year contract for the output of <br /> the wind farm. <br /> Renewable Energy Requirements <br /> Minnesota's renewable energy standard (RES) <br /> became effective in 2012, requiring all utilities <br /> to supply 12% of their energy from renewable <br /> resources. The RES increases in 2016, 2020, <br /> and 2025.
