We are one of only <br /> 184 public power utilities, out of more <br /> than 2,000 nationwide, to receive this <br /> recognition for providing consumers with <br /> the highest degree of reLiable and safe j -- <br /> electric service. The RP3 designation ' <br /> recognizes public power utilities that :r <br /> z <br /> demonstrate proficiency in four key <br /> disciplines: reliabiLity, safety, workforce <br /> development, and system improvement. <br /> Criteria within each category are based on sound business practices and represent a utility- <br /> wide commitment to safe and reLiabLe delivery of electricity. <br /> Consistently ERMU has achieved a top-notch reliability score. Last year, ERMU maintained <br /> a 99.99% Average Service AvaiLabiLity Index (ASAI). What that means is that 99.99% of the <br /> time, ERMU customers had power. That's impressive in comparison to other utilities. And over <br /> time, ERMU has fewer and fewer outages whiles experiencing rapid customer growth and the <br /> addition of electric service territory. <br /> It's an honor for ERMU to be one of the few utilities in the nation to receive this RP3 <br /> designation which embodies the fundamentals that make up public power.
