In addition,it is likely that any new single-family lots will be too expensive to fit <br /> Habitat's budget. <br /> Another common form of assistance has been identifying, acquiring, and demolishing a <br /> blighted home and providing the lot to Habitat for the construction of a new home. In <br /> order to provide this assistance, a funding source would need to be identified that could <br /> cover initial costs and fund the gap. <br /> Another issue would be the economies of scale with the level of funding needed and the <br /> number of homes that can be assisted. <br /> • <br /> • <br />
