Staff has identified the
opportunity to add two segments of roadway, originally scheduled for maintenance in 2019, to this year’s
contract. The additional segments and the recommended maintenance are as follows:

th

1,200-foot segment of 165 Avenue between the current west limits of our project and TH10.
This segment will receive full depth reclamation and repaved (5-inches of new bituminous
pavement).
th

The segment of 156 Avenue from Jarvis Street west 385-feet to a location where a newer
pavement section exists. This segment is recommended to receive an edge mill and overlay (1.5-
inches of new bituminous pavement).

These segments are recommended for inclusion as they fit well below our original project budget, are
continuous extensions of our existing project and are identified in our 5-year plan as segments requiring
maintenance.

Financial Impact

Change Order No. 2 will increase the 2015 Street Improvement contract by $147,867.11 to a total of
$3,953,589.17.

Attachments


Change Order No. 2
