The City of Elk River was among the 116 of the state’s 1,360 wastewater treatment facilities to <br />receive this award at the annual Wastewater Operations Conference in March. <br /> <br />Award eligibility requires facility operators to submit timely and accurate monitoring reports to the <br />MPCA, demonstrate consistent compliance through monitoring or surveys, and employ MPCA certified <br />operators. <br /> <br />This award acknowledges the dedication and hard work of Chief Wastewater Operator, Matt Stevens and <br />th <br />his staff. This is the 15 consecutive year that the wastewater treatment plant has received this award. <br /> <br />Attached is a letter from MPCA Commissioner John Linc Stine informing the city of the Certificate of <br />Commendation for the period October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014.
