He provided a background of the project <br />regarding noise and operational complaints. He discussed the timeline of issues and <br />compliance letters sent to the property owner. He stated the City Council should <br />evaluate the areas of non-compliance as noted in the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Connor Mickelson, 16831 Yale Street – Read his handout and stated on any given <br />day he can see the facility garage doors open. He stated he can hear the noise on a <br />baby monitor in his basement. <br /> <br />th <br />Daryl Jorgenson, 13480 96 Street Otsego – Stated he previously lived in Mr. <br />Mickelson's house for 18 years. He stated he called the police, more than what is <br />recorded in police records, when he lived at the house. He stated he tried talking to <br />Mr. Wells (the property owner) about the noise but no improvements were made. <br />He expressed concerns with grass in his yard being permanently dead, possibly <br />coming from a pond and some chemicals from the HiTech property. He stated when <br />there is overflow it spills onto his grass. He stated there are black rubber marks on <br />the street, from customers who test the horsepower on their cars after they come out <br />of the shop. Mr. Jorgenson stated Mr. Wells has had past issues with maintaining his <br /> <br />
