<br />Teen Coordinator Position: <br />(year-round position effective September, 2004) <br /> <br />Proerams: <br />Two weekdays each week: (2:15-6:15pm) <br />Movie Critic involves watching a movie and writing up a movie review. <br />Physical Education includes open gym and pick-up games. clinics and leagues. <br />Technology includes Youth Net, Web page design and Digital Arts programming. <br />Career Prep includes learning how to fill out a job application, interviewing skills and <br />goal setting techniques. <br />Money Matters incorporates interactive exercises to teach young people the basics about <br />checking accounts, investments and saving for their future. <br /> <br />Two weekday nights each week: (6:00-9:00pm) <br />After Hours-all facility open to teens including teen bands, karoke, league play, <br /> <br />On~e every two months <br />Teen Outing: A variety of destinations will be used as an incentive for those teens who <br />successfully participate in the Teen Educational Programs, Ex: Twins game <br /> <br />Prep time: <br />4 hours ea~h week (one hour per shift) <br />Program research and development, community and member outreach. <br /> <br />Trainine: <br />Program training 2/year <br />Youth Development Conference <br />Teen Supreme Conference <br /> <br />Administrative Costs: <br />Offi~e Support: <br /> <br />Teen Prof!ram Bude:et: <br /> <br />In-kind by BGCER <br />In-kind by BGCER <br /> <br />Salary: <br />18 hours per week at $15/hour= $270/week <br /> <br />$ 14,040/year <br /> <br />Trainings: <br />2/year at $500/event <br /> <br />$1,000 <br /> <br />Program Supplies: <br /> <br />In-kind by BGCER <br /> <br />Outings: <br />6/year at $150/event/transportaion costs <br />(Other costs will be fee based) <br /> <br />j2QQ <br /> <br />REQUESTED AMOUNT <br /> <br />$15,940 <br />
