HKGI TEAM <br /> HKGI has assembled a team familiar with Elk River and that also has specific experience on <br /> the original design of Rivers Edge Commons Park and experience collaborating with one <br /> another on built projects throughout the region.More detailed roles for each of the key <br /> personnel on the HKGI team are included below,and more detailed resumes are included <br /> on the pages that follow. <br /> Paul Paige,PLA,President of HKGI,will serve as Project Manager for the Rivers Edge <br /> Commons Expansion project. He will be responsible for leading the design effort, <br /> overseeing quality control and conducting design review and construction administration <br /> meetings. <br /> Paul led the planning,design,and implementation of the previous phase of the Rivers <br /> Edge Commons project,and he has worked with the City of Elk River on numerous other <br /> planning and construction projects over the course of his career. His familiarity with the site <br /> and with the community will be an asset,ensuring that the design meets the needs of both <br /> the community and the landscape and that the project proceeds according to schedule and <br /> budget. <br /> Paul has provided similar service and expertise on design and construction projects <br /> throughout the state of Minnesota. He has won numerous awards for his planning and <br /> design work,including the Rivers Edge Commons,the Buffalo Downtown Commons,and <br /> the Bloomington Civic and Arts Center Campus. <br /> Amy Bower,PLA,with HKGI will serve as the lead landscape architect. She will lead the site <br /> planning and design effort and will provide cost estimation,construction documentation, <br /> and support to construction administration services. <br /> Amy's experience translating design concepts into built work includes earlier phases of the <br /> Rivers Edge Commons project. She has developed designs and produced construction <br /> documentation for dozens of projects throughout the region,including the Village Creek, <br /> Arbor Plaza and Shingle Creek Overlook in Brooklyn Park,Veterans Memorial Park in Mound, <br /> Minnehaha Refectory in Minneapolis,and the Bloomington City Hall and Arts Campus. <br /> Kevin Clarke,a graduate planner and landscape architect with HKGI,will provide planning <br /> and landscape architecture support. He will assist in site design,cost estimating,and <br /> construction documentation. <br /> Kevin has experience working with the City of Elk River,having provided planning and <br /> landscape architecture support for the recently approved Parks and Recreation Master <br /> Plan. His additional park planning and design experience includes work on the Buffalo <br /> Downtown Commons,the Central Park Master Plan in Greenfield,and the Downtown <br /> Streetscape in Red Wing. <br /> 12 RIVERS EDGE COMMONS EXPANSION PROPOSAL <br />
