Sec. 30 -1027. - XCR extreme commercial recreation. <br />(a) Purpose. <br />The extreme commercial recreation district is intended to provide lodging, retail, and a <br />variety of commercial recreation uses that are more intense in nature than traditional <br />recreational uses. Some uses may include, but are not limited to, off road racing, <br />hotels, and training facilities. <br />(b) Permitted uses. <br />(1) Retail shops and stores. <br />(2) Business and professional offices. <br />(3) Class I restaurants. <br />(4) Class II restaurants. <br />(5) Single - family dwellings. <br />(6) Public parks, playgrounds, and open space. <br />(7) Agriculture horticulture uses (ten -acre lots or more). <br />(8) Facilities for flood and erosion control. <br />(c) Accessory uses. <br />(1) Accessory structures. <br />(2) Signs as permitted in section 30 -851 et sec. <br />(3) Public shelters and essential services. <br />(4) Overflow parking in non - designated parking areas not to exceed 50% of the <br />required parking. <br />(d) Interim uses. Interim uses shall be permitted for no more than five years, or when the <br />property is platted, whichever occurs first. The city may require a[n] escrow to ensure <br />the conditions of the interim use are adhered to. <br />(1) Roadside sales stands. <br />(2) Wind generators. <br />(3) Cooperative gardening in preserved open space. <br />(4) Gravel mining. <br />(5) Asphalt and concrete plant. <br />(6) Other uses existing as of the date of this article. <br />(7) Veterinary clinics commercial kennels. <br />(8) Conditional home occupation. <br />(9) Business and professional offices with a maximum gross floor area of 10,000 square <br />feet. <br />(10) Horticulture and floriculture uses in preserved open space. <br />Page 1 <br />
