?ity of <br /> <br />River <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item # 4.1 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Sandra Peine, City Clerk <br /> <br />May 3, 2000 <br /> <br />Board of Review <br /> <br />REQUEST: <br /> <br />During the 5/1/2000 Board of Review meeting, the Board was asked to review <br />the re-assessed property valuation for Parcel #75-431-0420. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />Excerpt from May 1, 2000 Board of Review Minutes <br /> <br />Rolfe Anderson - 75-431-0420 - Mr. Anderson indicated that his value increased from <br />193,500 to $206,600 in 2000. He indicated that he feels his total assessed value is too high. <br /> <br />After reviewing assessed values of similar style homes in the area and reviewing sales <br />comps, it was the consensus that the value may be too high and that the Assessor should <br />re-evaluate the property. <br /> <br />COUNClLMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE ASSESSOR TO COMPLETE AN APPRAISAL <br />OF PROPERTY OWNED BY ROLFE ANDERSON #75-535-0255 AND TO REPORT BACK TO THE <br />CITY COUNCIL WITH A RECOMMENDATION. COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
