Arrow Building Center Redevelopment Project Update
May 3,2004 HRA Meeting
• Project Status
Arrow Building Center has recently requested that the TRF consideration process be delayed
at least thirty days.
Contingent upon Arrow Building Center's submittal of a completed TRF application, the
earliest the HRA will consider the application and a recommendation to Council is at the
June HRA meeting. A subsequent City Council public hearing would be held and the
Council would consider granting final TRF approval. It is possible that the CUP and Street
Vacation consideration process be done concurrently with the TRF consideration process.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the HRA consider scheduling a worksession to review and identify
priority redevelopment areas, needs, goals and objectives for downtown, north of Highway
10. The HRA may consider utilizing Jim Prosser of Ehlers and Associates to facilitate the
HRA's discussion. Mr. Prosser facilitated the HRA's October 2001 worksession in which
the HRA began the visioning of opportunities and goals for the implementation of the
Downtown Revitalization Project.
•
