Parks and Recreation Director Report • <br /> Mr.Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Mr. Hecker shared the magazine with the article highlighting designing Orono Park <br /> will be out this month. <br /> 7. Division Manager's Reports <br /> Mr.Benoit presented his staff report. He shared that staff is working on the summer <br /> marketing plan for summer programs and that the program guide will be out mid- <br /> March. <br /> Mr.Benoit shared that the attendance at the Activity Center this month is already <br /> higher this year compared to last year's attendance. <br /> 8. Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update <br /> Mr.Hecker handed out a copy of the plan and asked members to read it at home <br /> and email questions to him by next week Monday to be able to use the consultants <br /> time more efficiently. <br /> 9. Houlton Farm Planning Committee Update • <br /> Commissioner Anderson shared the group is meeting the last Monday of each <br /> month.They toured the property,had presentations about how the process has <br /> worked up to this point and how the funding is working along with what goes into it. <br /> The March meeting will include discussions with the DNR regarding their proposal <br /> of wildlife and hunting on property. <br /> 10. Election of Chair and Vice Chair <br /> Commissioner Anderson nominated Dave Kallemeyn to be Commission Vice- <br /> Chair. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Commissioner Sagan nominated Dave Anderson to be Commission Chair. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> II. Announcements <br /> 12.
