City of <br /> Elk <br /> River <br /> Resolution 15- <br /> A Resolution of the City of Elk River Amending the Comprehensive Plan to <br /> Change the Land Use from Focused Area Study to Industrial <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355,Subdivision 2,prescribes the procedure for <br /> amending the Comprehensive Plan,and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 26,2015 and recommended <br /> approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property generally described <br /> as: Lot 1,Block 2,Natures Edge Business Center, Sherburne County,Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request and <br /> finds the following: <br /> 1. The current use of the site is consistent with Light Industrial uses. <br /> 2. The land use is consistent with the surround land uses. <br /> 3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses. <br /> 4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as <br /> described above from Focused Area Study to Industrial. <br /> Passed and adopted this 1st day of June 2015. <br /> John J.
