Improve Existing Parks and Facilities
The city will continue working with their current inventory of parks and
facilities and will look for opportunities to make strategic improvements.
2. Maintain Park Assets at a High Level
The city will protect its investments and recognize the level of effort and
resources necessary to keep park and facilities safe and free of deterioration.
3. Strengthen Trail Connections
The city will provide active and independent recreation for all ages with trail
features that are highly desired by the community.
4. Connect to the Rivers
The city will capitalize on the unique natural features of the community and
provide residents with water based experiences.
5. Provide Engaging Recreational Programming for the Entire Community
The city will strengthen its community ties, provide equitable recreation
opportunities, and promote learning and physical activity for residents.
6.
