We went to market to fill the building maintenance <br /> technician position and interviewed four candidates;three of which were invited back for a second <br /> interview. Following the second interview, it was decided to recommend internal candidate Jim Lebrun <br /> for this position. <br /> Mr. Lebrun has been working for the city as the laborer in the Building Maintenance Division since 2007. <br /> He has proven to be a dedicated employee and prepared himself for the technician position by going to <br /> school to achieve the necessary training and certifications. We are pleased to be able to offer Mr. Lebrun <br /> this position. <br /> Mr. Lebrun will start this position at step B of pay grade 5. He will be eligible for any cost of living <br /> increase for 2016 and, based on satisfactory performance, eligible for a step increase on July 1, 2016.
