• <br /> CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81- <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 81- <br /> BARRINGTON PLACE DEVELOPMENT <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Res. No. 81- ordering the advertisement for <br /> bid for the designated improvements for Project 81- , for the Barrington Place <br /> Development, said bids were received on the 18th day of May, 1981, opened and <br /> tabulated according to law and the following three lowest bids were received <br /> complying with the advertisement: <br /> Phase I Phase I & II <br /> H.B.H. Construction Inc. $113,271.55 $249,950.30 <br /> Dawson Construction $114,697.00 $255,220.50 <br /> American Contracting $116,857.60 --- <br /> Thomas Montgomery Const. --- $260,571.00 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that H.B.H. Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible <br /> bidder; <br /> 4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River City Council as follows: <br /> 1. The Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed <br /> to enter into a contract with H.B.H. Construction, Inc. for the designated <br /> improvements. <br /> 2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forth- <br /> with to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the three <br /> lowest responsible bidders. When a contract is duly executed the deposits <br /> of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bid <br /> deposit of the successful bidder will be retained until the performance <br /> bond has been executed and approved, after which the bid deposit will <br /> be returned. <br /> PASSED by the Elk River City Council this 9th day of June, 1981. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • City Administrator <br />
