RESOLUTION 84-18 <br /> EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER HELD JULY 16, 1984 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of Elk River, Minnesota was duly called and held at the Elk River <br /> Public Library in said City on the 16th day of July 1984, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Engstrom, <br /> Duitsman, Schuldt and Gunkel <br /> The following members were absent: None <br /> Councilmember Duitsman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION 84-18, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT THROUGH <br /> THE ELK RIVER PLAZA PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO THE BARRINGTON PLACE PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the City of Elk River <br /> construct watermain improvements through the Elk River Plaza Planned Unit <br /> Development to the Barrington Place Planned Unit Development, as described <br /> in accordance with preliminary plans and feasibility report prepared by <br /> John Gilbertson of Consulting Engineers Diversified, consulting engineer; <br /> and, <br /> 1111 WHEREAS, The City Council has been advised by the consulting engineer that said project <br /> improvements are feasible and should thus be made as proposed; and, <br /> WHEREAS, after due notice of public hearing on the construction of the watermain <br /> improvements above-described for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, the hearing <br /> on said improvement was duly held and the City Council heard all persons <br /> desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as de- <br /> scribed in the notice of hearing thereon be constructed and the same <br /> are hereby ordered made. <br /> 2. The improvement described in said notice of hearing is hereby designated <br /> The Trunk Watermain Improvement Through the Elk River Plaza Planned Unit <br /> Development to the Barrington Place Planned Unit Development. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council- <br /> member Engstrom and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: <br /> Councilmembers Engstrom, Duitsman, Schuldt and Gunkel <br />
