Zerwas, Chief of Police

Date: April 17, 2000

Subject: REPLACING LINOLEUM FLOOR TILES
IN POLICE DEPARTMENT

The linoleum tile in our entry area has broken up in several spots. We
also have stains that have developed in our tile from our rubber floor
runners. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove the stains.

We are, therefore, planning on removing the tiles and having it
replaced with ceramic tile, which will be much more durable. It will
cost us approximately two thousand, six hundred dollars ($2,600.00)
to replace the tile. Our plan is to pay for the ceramic floor tile out of
our existing budget and utilize drug and alcohol forfeiture funds to pay
for some of our overtime expense that are used in those areas.

If you have any problems with the planned project, please advise.
TDZ/kma

13065 Or0n0 Parkway · P.O.
