In 2000, <br /> • the largest age group were those ages 25 to 44 which comprise 33.9% of the population. This <br /> age segment increased by 7,426 persons between 1990 and 2000, a 51.5% increase. The second <br /> largest age group are youth age 5 to 17 which comprise 22.5% of the population. This segment <br /> increased by 4,834 persons for a 50% increase. <br /> The largest percentage increase during the past ten years was found in the 45 to 54 age group <br /> which increased by 94%, or 3,733 persons. The second largest percentage increase were <br /> individuals age 85 and over which increased by 80.7%, or 309 persons. All age segments in the <br /> County have increased by at least 26%during the past ten years. According to the Census the <br /> median age in Sherburne County is 31.4. <br /> • <br /> 11 <br />
