Box 490 <br />Elk River, MN 55330-0490 <br /> <br />RE: MUNICIPAL STATE AID ADDITION <br /> <br />Dear Council Members: <br /> <br />A review of the City's Municipal State Aid system at the end of 1999 revealed that the City had <br />0.81 miles available to designate on the Municipal State Aid system. In order to get this mileage <br />on the system so that it could draw needs (dollars for construction), we are recommended the <br />addition of Dodge Street from Elk Hills Drive to 193rd Avenue. This section of Dodge Street is <br />shown on the attached map. This represents 0.73 miles and gets the undesignated mileage <br />down to 0.08 miles. The City can always move this designation in the future, as long as no <br />State Aid dollars are not spent on the route. <br /> <br />Attached for the City Council's consideration is a resolution that establishes Dodge Street as a <br />Municipal State Aid route.
