5. Employees: All personnel under the Community Education concept shall be <br /> • considered to be employees of the School District. They need not be certificated <br /> teachers and shall bot be eligible for tenure. <br /> The Director of Community Education shall serve as a full-time, year around <br /> school staff member, directly responsible to the Superintendent or his designee. <br /> He will administer all activities related to Community Education. He shall serve <br /> as the executive secretary to the District Community Education Advisory <br /> Council. <br /> Future employment of any Community School Coordinator shall be done in <br /> consultation with an individual designated by the governmental body within which <br /> the school is located and the building principal. Retention or dismissal of said <br /> Community School Coordinator will be dealt with in a similar manner. <br /> 6. Liability: Each party shall assume sole responsibility for injuries to users by its <br /> facilities while the facilities are being used. Each party shall secure proper <br /> liability insurance to provide for any such claim. <br /> 7. Length of Agreement and Termination: This agreement shall take effect upon <br /> approval by the School District and the participating governmental bodies. It <br /> may be terminated as it pertains to any of the parties by providing at least one <br /> hundred eighty (180) days written notice to the Community Education Advisory <br /> Council.
