MOTION CARRIED.
The subcommittee would like to make the gift certificate drawings a"must be present to win"
situation, but the pads are already printed. Environmental Technician Blake-Bradley contacted
the lawyer for the city to ask whether it is possible to make the change given that the City is a
governmental unit. The lawyer said that it can be changed but the pads would have to be
printed over again and his firm should review the changes to the rules. He added that the
drawing pads are a necessity for liability reasons and the verbiage must be very clear as to
where and when the drawing will be held (and then the schedule must be strictly adhered to).
• Environmental Technician Blake-Bradley stated that the subcommittee feels very strongly
about this change and asked for feedback from the general commission. Costs were discussed.
