• RESOLUTION 80-28 <br /> EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br /> Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the <br /> County Administration Building, Commissioner's Room, in said City on the 14th <br /> day of October, 1980, at 8:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Engstrom, <br /> Toth and Otto and the following were absent: Councilman Duitsman. <br /> Member Toth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SALK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WATERMAIN EXTENSION <br /> WHEREAS, after due Notice of Public Hearing on the construction of the Salk <br /> Junior High Watermain Extension, for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, hearing on <br /> said improvements was duly held and the Council heard all persons desiring to be <br /> heard on the matter and fully considered the same; <br /> • NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br /> Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as <br /> described in the Notice of Hearing thereon be constructed, and the same are <br /> hereby ordered made. <br /> 2. The improvements described in said Notice of Hearing are hereby designated <br /> and shall be know as the Salk Junior High Watermain Project. <br /> 3. The consulting engineer, McCombs-Knutson Associates, Inc. is hereby <br /> directed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br /> by member Engstrom and upon a vote being taken theron, the following voted in <br /> favor thereof: Engstrom, Toth and Otto and the following voted against the same: <br /> None. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 14th <br /> day of October, 1980. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Robert C.
