DENNIS MOVED TO RECOMMEND DOING ALL THE ITEMS <br /> LISTED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ITEM MARKED WITH THREE ASTERISKS ON <br /> THE ATTACHED SHEET TOTALING $27,880 AND IF MORE ITEMS ARE TO BE <br /> DELETED, THE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE ITEMS ARE RETAINED. COMMISSIONER <br /> CLETE LIPETZKY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 9. Update on LAWCON Grant <br /> Phil Hals presented the LAWCON Grant information and explain that since <br /> the grant amount was reduced from the original application, it was <br /> necessary to cut back the project accordingly. <br /> COMMISSIONER CLETE LIPETZKY MOVED THAT THE PARK AND RECREATION <br /> • COMMISSION RECOMMEND THAT THE PROJECT INCLUDE THE ENTRANCE ROAD, <br /> PARKING LOT, ROADWAY LIGHTING THE BITUMINOUS HIKING PATH AND ABOUT HALF <br /> OF THE CRUSHED ROCK TRAIL, OMITTING THE PICNIC SHELTER AND ONE HALF OF <br /> • <br /> Park & Recreation Commission Minutes Page 3 <br /> March 3, 1993 <br /> THE CRUSHED ROCK TRAIL. COMMISSIONER ROLFE ANDERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 10. Update on Water Treatment Building <br /> Phil Hals presented the information on the location of the western area <br /> water tower and water treatment building. <br /> COMMISSIONER CLETE LIPETZKY MOVED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT <br /> THE WATER TREATMENT BUILDING BE LOCATED AS NEAR THE WATER TOWER AS <br /> POSSIBLE (SEE MAIER STEWART 2/19/92 FAX COPY, PAGE 2). COMMISSIONER <br /> ROLFE ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> • 11. Staff Updates/Other Business <br /> Phil Hals distributed a memo from Pat Klaers and it was the consensus <br /> that the Park and Recreation Commission recommend another joint meeting <br /> date since 3/8/93 would not allow much discussion time after the <br /> regular City Council meeting.
