All private stormwater <br />facilities shall be maintained by the owner in proper condition consistent with <br />the performance standards for which they were originally designed. <br />1.4-.—All settled materials from sumps, grit chambers, and other devices, including settled <br />solids, shall be removed and properly disposed of on an annual basis. One- to five -year <br />waivers from this requirement may be granted by the city when the owner presents evidence <br />that the facility has additional capacity to remove settled solids in accordance with the <br />original design capacity. <br />2_2—.Ponds shall be inspected at least once every five years to determine if settled <br />materials should be removed. Settled materials shall be removed and properly disposed of <br />when the pond is no longer functioning at the original design capacity. <br />20 <br />
