The Commission also requests that the City Council consider an increase in the <br />trail reimbursement to developers to $14.00 per linear foot. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />· September 8, 1999 Park and Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes <br />· New Trail Specifications <br />· Bid Estimate for Bituminous Trail <br />· Trail Cross-Section <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />As an annual task, the Park and Recreation Commission proposes to review the Park <br />Dedication requirements and make a recommendation to the City Council prior to <br />adoption of the fee structure each year. This year, the Commission reviewed the park <br />dedication fees at their September meeting. The Commission voted to make the <br />following recommendations to the City Council: <br /> <br />Increase the park dedication fees from $1300 to $1400 per lot for residential <br />developments. Of the $1400, $1,150 would be for park development, the <br />other $250 would be dedicated for trail development. <br />Increase the trail reimbursement to developers to $14.00 per linear foot <br />based on "real life" numbers. <br /> <br />It is anticipated that this increase would become effective with the adoption of the 2000 <br />fee structure. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council consider the Commission's recommendation as <br />part of the adoption of the 2000 fee structure. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
