The Easement Vacation shall not be recorded until a revised survey is received and approved by
staff.
Background /Discussion
The property owner at 14381 221" Avenue is requesting to vacate 2,500 square feet of the easement
encompassing the majority of the property. The applicant is proposing to excavate in the 2,500 square
foot area to generate top soil and backfill for the construction of a new home on the property.
The applicant initially proposed the vacated /excavation area to be northeast of the proposed house
location in the heart of the easement and near a ditch.
After the staff Site Plan Review meeting, staff recommended the vacated/ excavation area be moved as
close to the wetland border as possible, as shown on the Area Moved Exhibit, and away from the
ditch /stream to avoid the excavated site from drawing water from the stream.
The applicant was unable to get a revised survey to staff in time to include in the packet. Staff will
provide the revised survey at the meeting if received.
Financial Impact
None
Attachments
• Initial Survey
• Area Moved Exhibit
P a w E A E U s r
NaA f RE]
