This year, more <br /> than 1, 000 marches were organized, raising close to $2 million for <br /> America' s national, state, and local parks. We'd love to have you <br /> join us for the 1997 march! <br /> As you know, March for Parks supports programs such as trail <br /> improvement, recycling and clean-up, tree planting, wildlife <br /> protection, land acquisition, and environmental education. 100% of <br /> the proceeds from each event stay in the community, to be donated <br /> to a public park or environmental education program.
