Memo to Park and Rec Commission/Planning Items Page 2 <br /> February 14, 1996 <br /> 411 Requested Action <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission is asked to consider this amendment <br /> to the preliminary plat for Lafayette Woods and provide a recommendation <br /> for the Planning Commission and City Council to consider. <br /> 2. Nordic Woods (previously known as Oak Creek Estates) - <br /> Case No. P 95-8 <br /> This particular development was reviewed by the Park and Recreation <br /> Commission at last month's meeting. As a result of addressing some <br /> issues expressed by staff, the plat has taken on a slightly new <br /> configuration. Two noticeable changes are the developer's avoidance of <br /> impacting the DNR stream along the western boundaries of the plat and <br /> also extending the street further south through the Nord property <br /> providing access to County Road 1 at a desirable location. <br /> Requested Action <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission is asked to review this plat and <br /> either reaffirm their recommendation from last month or modify it <br /> • accordingly. <br /> 3. Hillside Crossing II Commercial Planned Unit Development <br /> and Preliminary Plat - Case No. P 96-1 <br /> Last month, this project was presented to the Park and Recreation <br /> Commission as a conceptual plan. Since that time, a formal application <br /> along with plans have been submitted for a public hearing to be held by <br /> the Planning Commission on February 27, 1996. Once again, the Park <br /> and Recreation Commission is asked to review this project as it relates to <br /> the entire Hillside Estates Planned Unit Development and how the park <br /> needs in this particular project may be tied into surrounding areas. <br /> Requested Action <br /> The Park and Recreation is asked to either reaffirm their recommendation <br /> from last month or amend it accordingly. <br /> 4. Administrative Subdivision for Grace Assembly of God Church - <br /> Case No. AS 96-1 <br /> This requested administrative subdivision is located at the intersection of <br /> • Tyler Street and County Road 13.
