MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.13. <br /> <br />Consider Resolution Accepting Bid and Authorizing Execution of Contract in the Matter of <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant Digester Cover Replacement Improvement of 2004 <br /> <br />City Engineer Terry Maurer submitted the staff report. Mr. Maurer stated that four bids <br />have been received for the replacement of the digester cover at the wastewater treatment <br />plant and the low bid was Municipal Builders, Inc. He stated that bids came in lower than <br />estimated due to the apparent lack of work available for these contractors. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 04-29 ACCEPTING <br />THE BID FROM MUNICIPAL BUILDERS , INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$609,750 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE <br />MATTER OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DIGESTER COVER <br />REPLACEMENT IMPROVEMENT OF 2004.
