Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report along with a PowerPoint presentation. <br />Mayor Dietz reopened the public hearing. There being no one present to speak, he <br />closed the public hearing. <br />Councilmember Westgaard asked questions regarding the locations allowed for <br />operating taprooms and microbreweries. <br />Mr. Carlton explained larger breweries are industrial -based businesses, requiring <br />larger equipment, truck traffic, and large volumes of water.
